OIT provides a wide variety of technical services to the Bowie State University community with its Enterprise Applications, Enterprise Support Services, Enterprise Systems and Networking, and Telecommunications teams.

The Office of Information Technology is committed to empowering our customers to dramatically improve their business performance by enabling interoperability between diverse technology systems and the streamlining of business processes. Business integration (e.g. voice over ip, imaging and print solutions, one card and single sign-on) is increasingly strategic to the success of competitive organizations. As a new division, reporting directly to the President of Bowie State University, Dr. Mickey L. Burnim, we are committed to attaining the highest level of quality and integrity in all relationships with our clients (i.e. end users, campus community). We will accomplish our mission with a proactive approach to identifying, sharing and resolving problems promptly and courteously in an ongoing effort to provide service excellence.
