The Office of Student Accounts is committed to assisting students throughout their education at Bowie State University.  We are the general billing and collections office for student tuition, course fees, and room and board.  We are also responsible for the posting of employee tuition remission benefits and the billing for third party accounts.  New on line enhancements offered by the Student Accounts Office are Electronic billings, direct deposit of your student refund through the State of Maryland Treasurer's Office, and on line 1098T tax information. 

Please note that all account payments and payment plan options are available by accessing Bulldog Connection.  We now accept payment through our Interactive Voice Response telephone system (IVR).  In order to make a payment over the phone with a credit card, please call 1-866-364-5826 and follow the automated instructions.  When the transaction is complete you will receive a confirmation number.

Third Party Billing: All tuition and fees are due and payable at the time of registration.  However, Bowie State University participates in the Tuition Assistance Program.  If a student is eligible for tuition assistance, a written contract or letter may be accepted at registration in lieu of full payment (we reserve the right to reject any document(s) not meeting our criteria).  If the sponsor does not pay the University within sixty days of the billing date, the student will then be responsible for full payment of the balance due.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with extended hours on Wednesday's until 7:00 p.m.  The Cashier's Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with extended hours on Wednesday's until 6:30  During student registration periods, which are generally the first two weeks prior to the beginning of the fall and spring semester, hours are extended. Specific extended hours will be posted and announced in the student course schedules, on the web, and other similar media sources.

For your convenience, there is also a night depository located at the Cashier’s window where payments can be dropped off in person when the Office is closed.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this or any other University publication, the University reserves the right to make changes in tuition, fees and other charges at any time such changes are deemed necessary by the University System of Maryland Board of Regents.

The student is responsible for all costs incurred at the University.  This provision is an irrevocable contract between the student and BSU.
