Development
The Office of Development is responsible for coordinating all fund raising to benefit the University, including annual giving, major gifts and planned giving.
Why Support Fund Development
Today the driving force behind an educational institution's growth is the ability to generate a steady stream of dollars that will sustain the university’s programs and infrastructure through times of budget shortfalls and limited finding. The Office of External Relations in conjunction with efforts from the Development Office is the engine that embodies the capital campaigns, annual fund drives, alumni activities, endowments, Friends & Fundraising events. The fundraising opportunities help the university in many ways because they support the university's 15 million dollar capital campaign effort to build a stronger BSU.
